Men’s Pyrite and Boulder Creek Turquoise Beaded Gemstone stretch Bracelet

Turquoise is said to be the oldest gemstone known to man in human history. Throughout time, this stone was honored as a symbol of wisdom and nobility. To some cultures it was even considered to a symbol of immortality. From the Ancient Egyptians to the Native Americans, Turquoise was considered a sacred stone of power, luck and protection. The blue-green hues of the stone and its light weight make it a versatile stone for carved figures, jewelry pendents and other accessories. While it is a more common stone, it is still treasured by many cultures today.
Turquoise is an opaque, blue-to-green mineral that is a hydrated phosphate of copper and aluminum. It is rare and valuable in finer grades and has been prized as a gemstone and ornamental stone for thousands of years. Native American tribes of the Southwest wore turquoise as an amulet thought to offer protection, and in ancient Persia (and modern day Iran) some believe that wearing turquoise can ward off the “evil eye”

Turquoise is not only a stone for finding wholeness and truth; it is also an aid in the communication and manifestation of those qualities. Turquoise represents the wisdom that comes from all of life’s experiences. It reminds us that wholeness can only come when we are willing to embrace the totality of who we are and what we have learned. Turquoise is a stone of self forgiveness, self acceptance and the release of useless regrets.

Pyrite is often called “Fool’s Gold,” the glittering rock notoriously mistaken by naïve prospectors as real gold. Within its gleaming beauty is a stone of hidden fire, one that can be sparked to life by striking it against metal or stone. An Earth element, it also resonates with Fire energy, symbolizing the warmth and lasting presence of the sun and the ability to generate wealth by one’s own power. It is masculine in nature, a stone of action, vitality and will, and taps into one’s abilities and potential, stimulating the flow of ideas. It brings confidence and the persistence to carry things through to completion.
